ABOUT GARDEN CITY TENNIS SERIES
This tennis tournament series is a collaboration of The Friends of Newton Tennis, Inc (a non-profit USTA community tennis association) with the City of Newton, Massachusetts. The series is part of Friends of Newton Tennis' mission to advance tennis and racquet sports in the City of Newton, a major municipality in the Boston metropolitan area. This mission seeks to bring high performance tennis to the Boston area by building from the ground up. We want to create a pathway for high performance tennis by providing novice junior tournaments all the way up to prize money, amateur, pro, and ATP events.
The series is held in memory of Isadore Singer
(renowned MIT math professor, Newton resident and avid tennis player) with support from the New England Tennis & Education Foundation.
